Thyme ‘Doone Valley’

Fragrant, green, lemon-scented foliage develops irregular intensely golden areas as the weather gets cold and the green becomes reddish copper. Lavender flowers in July and August. Mat forming. Moderate foot traffic. Semi-woody plants have leaves that are small and fragrant. Short spikes of flowers occur during summer. Plants should be sheared frequently to maintain form and vigor. Requires well-drained soil, especially in winter. Evergreen. Attractive to butterflies. Plant on 8″ centers. Height/Spread: 2″-4″ x 8″
