Kniphofia Uvaria ‘Gold Rush’ Red Hot Poker

Kniphofia uvaria ‘Gold Rush’ has brilliant yellow, tubular flowers cluster atop tall stems, and blue-green, wide-leafed foliage that forms a very large, robust clump. Also known as Red Hot Poker, or Tritorma. Kniphofia is a favorite perennial that has been grown in gardens for many years. Kniphofia ‘Gold Rush’ is a striking new cultivar that stands tall and blooms for months, attracting butterflies, hummingbirds and bees. 

Kniphofia uvaria ‘Gold Rush’ prefers full sun and average to dry, well-drained soil. It will grow in poor to fertile, neutral soils. Good winter drainage is important.
