Ajuga ‘Bronze Beauty’ Bugleweed

Ajuga ‘Bronze Beauty’ is a striking ground cover with bronze-tinted, deep green foliage and bold blue flower spikes in spring and early summer. It thrives in shady areas and is lovely tucked into rock walls, in-between stepping stones, or edging a flower bed.

Also known as “bugleweed,” Ajuga is a evergreen to semi-evergreen spreading perennial that spreads into a dense carpet. It can easily suppress weeds, but can also spread into unwanted areas like lawns if allowed. If you’d like to limit its spread without the additional maintenance, try planting it in a container instead.
